Dragon draft

First draft of a dragon commission
Been a while since I put up a completed traditional art price, eh?
Made with graphite pencil and pencil crayons.
It was pretty fun, I did the linework and shading first with the pencil (mechanical for accuracy) then layered the colour pencils on top. The scales have three colours: yellow highlights, orange base and maroon shadows. Forthe final the colours are going to have to change, since the commissioner of the price wants it a brighter orange, so I am going to have to use less shading, or at least use markers instead of pencils.
Drafts are different than sketches(in my mind that is), sketches are shapes and are rough, when it is almost complete, with clean up work and colouring done, it is a draft.
